| 4 Looks 1 Destination | Budapest
The motivation to write this post has finally been discovered, can bloggers get writer block well that's what I am blaming it on for not having this post up ages ago.
This summer I have travelled to a good few places and every trip has been an experience. It has taught me a fair deal about traveling and exploring different countries. One thing I learned on this trip was that long stopovers are a no no especially on your birthday (sitting in frankfurt airport for 7 hours was definitely not how I pictured celebrating the big 2-1) oh well we all learn and grow from these experiences.
Budapest is a big city and there is plenty of buildings with overflowing history. I really enjoyed seeing the main sights of Budapest but I couldn't prepare myself for the heat this european city has on a daily basis in the summer months. I am used to around the 20's being extremely hot for me to handle but 30s was very extreme and sometimes it was hard to walk and function in the weather.
To do List- Budapest
-Sightseeing Bus
-Boat Trip
-Budapest Baths- Spa
One thing we didn't get to do was go on the Budapest Eye- it looked unreal at night.
My favourite part of the trip to Budapest was heading to Sziget Festival- we decided to go for the one day and explore the city for the rest. The festival itself is amazing and there is so many things to do and see apart from the music acts on stage. We had a look around the ARTZONE and it was extremely cool- this site included pieces from various artists around the world, such a great platform to showcase your work.
The main act at the Festival the day we went was Dua Lipa- she is an absolute queen and I had always wanted to see her perform live. She was amazing, out of this world and her voice is literally incredible, the production was also world class. I would recommend going to Sziget Festival to anyone and hopefully one day I will get the chance to head back there and maybe for longer next time. yaaa
My outfits:
(warning there is a lot of red featured in this blogpost)
Look 1:
I love high waisted bikinis and this one I wore to the Budapest Baths was perfect. Super comfy and really affordable as I got it on Shein for around 10 euro. Such crazy prices for good quality swimwear. My sunglasses are an old fav of mine that I got from Topshop around 3 years, I have been wearing them every summer and they never go out of style.
Bikini- Shein
Sunglasses- Topshop
Look 2:
Look 4:
Last by not least my Sziget Festival look, I previously had another outfit in mind which included trousers (thank god I didn't wear trousers I would of melted hahah) My outfit was extremely comfortable for wandering around the festival and obviously for dancing. This cute bikini top/crop I purchased on Boohoo last summer and I never had the right event to wear but Sziget was perfect.
A bum bag is essential for a festival. I got mine from Primark and it could fit everything I needed which included- Money, phone, a tshirt and sunscreen. (My essentials for any festival)
I also got my hair braided at the festival which was so handy because your hair can just get in the way and be extremely annoying when in your face on a normal day never mind at a festival. It cost me 15 euro to get it done but it was worth every penny and finished off my festival outfit/look.
Crop top- Boohoo
High waisted mom shorts- Topshop
Bum bag- Primark
Socks- Topshop
Trainers- Fila

This is a really simple and very 'my style' outfit. I recently purchased these crop red jeans from Primark and they are so comfy yet cool. I teamed them with a basic ribbed white crop and my trusty fila disruptors (you do a lot of walking so really handy for long distance without the sore feet)
This outfit is all from Primark, except my necklace and rings.
Look 3:
This look I wore on the last day of our trip to go sightseeing around Budapest. I literally was in love when I first seen these dungarees. They are very cute and so light especially in the hot weather (bonus it had pockets), I paired with a white tee I purchased ages ago but a white tee is always a staple in any gals wardrobe.
White tee- Topshop
Dungarees- Shein
Red Belt- Forever 21
Trainers- Fila
