| Step into the 90s- college outfit edition |

Hey gals, back with a new post this week and with college fast approaching I thought it was rather fitting to start talking about all things college fashion. When I transitioned from school to college, this aspect of University life was one of the most exciting for me as I really do express myself through the clothes I wear. Everyday was like a fashion show haha, I wanted to look and feel confident and clothes definitely helped me to act less shy and put myself out there when meeting and talking to new people at college. Sometimes clothes were a real conversation start for me because if I liked something a person was wearing I would tell them and then instantly a friendship can blossom.

This week I wanted to focus on some of my 90s inspired essentials for everyday college wear, it can be easy to be fashionable yet comfortable in college and here's a few tips to get some college gals sorted for the semester.


Invest in warm yet stylish vintage pieces- believe me you will not regret it, some of my fav pieces in my wardrobe are vintage or second hand this includes this tartan puffer jacket and my newest baby added to the fam: Crazy cool fleece jumper. They are really easy to style and can be worn with many types of trousers, jeans and skirts as usually vintage pieces do the talking themselves and stand out.







A denim jacket is a must: A good denim jacket is a big must for me when at college because you can layer clothes under it and make it as versatile as you want. They are also perfect for adding a vintage 90s vibe to any outfit and it was my go to when bringing a jacket on a cold night out in uni.



Jumpers and Sweatshirts are key- Cosy and comfort is the best especially in fashion. In winter, I love wearing sweatshirts and jumpers to college because they are great for everyday wear and you can style them constantly. I always wear oversized jumpers tucked into mom jeans (literally my go to look at college) 




Dungarees- My life has changed for the better since discovering dungarees, they look effortlessly cool and you can yet again style them a crazy amount of times over for college days. Perfect for when you just want a 'put together' outfit and want to embrace your inner 90s chick. I recommend wearing with light sweatshirts or even a cute stripy top.

| HOW 'CLUELESS' IS STILL INSPIRING FASHION 23 YEARS ON |

I was scrolling through Twitter today and I noticed a post about how 'Clueless' is turning 23 this week. How crazy is that? It got me thinking about how a single film like 'Clueless' has helped us to push the boundaries of fashion. I know myself when I first discovered that this film existed, that was me obsessed with everything from the characters to clothes from the first scene. For years now I have been a hardcore 'clueless' fan, it was actually that first time I knew 90's style was my first love. So how did we become so infatuated by Cher and her style? The introduction of IGTV (Instagram TV) has got me thinking about creating visual content and I think this platform is perfect for me to launch this type of content I have been dreaming of finally starting for years!
