| The Beauty Blog Awards 2018 |

Proud is an understatement, my mind has been buzzing all week! What an experience.

I still can't believe I attended this event ah literally pinch me, when I first reached out to my followers for a potential nomination I never anticipated getting as far as the longlist for 'Best Newcomer Blog'
and now I can say I made  the shortlist for Best Newcomer with the Top 20  Bloggers in my category from  Ireland, such a dream to actually say out loud haha.

I was extremely nervous before attending the event, this was my first proper blogger event and I didn't know what to expect at all. My expectations were met ten times over from the stunning location (Lillies Dublin) to the gals I met that night. Everyone I got chatting to were so nice and extremely down to earth. I know I met some gals that I would now call friends, so supportive of one another and just overall understand the blogger game and the struggles we all go through in this industry.

I felt so lucky to be standing in a room with all these amazing people, I was lost for words when people at home were sending me messages of support and love. I really can't get over that my passion and love for Blogging has presented such great opportunities. I am determined to keep going and to create content I love because whatever I do with my blog I always put my all into it. I am extremely grateful for the kind words and the encouragement from other bloggers at the event, I never thought that me doing what I love (blogging and taking outfit pictures) would lead me to this amazing event and with fabulous people that I adore and look up to in this competition industry.

I finally got to meet Zoe after months of chatting online and liking each other content. It was great to finally catch up and talk all things fashion, London and of course blogging. If you don't follow Zoe already, please do. She is amazing at what she does and she was one of the first gals to recognise my content online and promote my page to other fashion bloggers in the game. I have so much respect for her work and I am so happy to have made a friend in Zoe. Next stop is Brunch in London gal x

I also met the fab Molly Roberts aka Mollerina, she is absolute stun as she would say haha. She is a very focused and motivated gal. She knows her craft and isn't afraid to work hard to produce the best content for her audience. Definitely give her a follow if you aren't already. MOLLERINA

She is also a former Maynoothian and if you are interested in heading to Maynooth she creates insightful and high quality videos about the college and tips for starting at Maynooth University. Check her out!

Another gal closer to home I met was Shauna Raff aka Funk You Fashion- what a doll, class craic might I add and such an easy gal to chat and giggle with. She made me feel so at ease and her personality is one of the best. FUNK YOU FASHION

Back to the event so free donuts, ice cream and sweet potato fries. Y A please
On arrival, we received our amazing goodie bags and the best part gin and tonics on tap for the night.
The perfect night wrapped up.

I want to thank the Beauty Blog awards for inviting me, the organisation is incredible for recognising bloggers from all walks of life big and small. The night is one to remember and always will hold a very special place in my blogging journey.

My outfit was very simple, I wanted glam and I knew I wanted to wear a piece with trousers because I don't feel comfortable in dresses, I don't know why  but no dress has ever suited me and my style. I bought my jumpsuit from Missguided for 20 euro, I am a student so I needed to wear something fab but at a reasonable price.

Outfit Details:
Jumpsuit- Missguided
Earrings- Penneys
Clutch- Penneys

Earrings of course are from Penneys, I loved the retro 80's vibe they added to my simple glam outfit and of course my hair was in crazy curls my trademark now haha.

Red lip was also an essential for an awards night, it just screams GLAM GIRL.

Proud is an understatement, my mind was buzzing all night!
What a dream to attend, so here's to more events and working to create the best content on what I love to do. Thank you gals for the support and votes I won't ever forget it x
